Why I love Korean dramas & Hallyu

You see ah?the thing about watching Korean dramas for me, is a lot more deeper than the fan girling, swooning, Cliché gestures. though it's a bonus or plus one that comes with it ye-ah. swooning is necessary,you just have to.

 I know people who don't watch Korean dramas may not really understand why people who do act or react the way they do. They sees it as something stupid, silly obsessive.

 Well I won't say I understand why they say that, but I feel that way too when I see how excited other people get when they talk about sports ,anime ,certain series/topics that aren't relatable or interesting to me. I ain't feeling those so i'll probably just zoom out.

It's different for me when i watch Korean dramas,I might be exaggerating on how much it has impacted my life and exposure to certain aspects of life and living in general. I'm not saying it's all knowing and mighty.

I watch Korean dramas for a whole lot of reasons;
The culture, language is interesting.... storylines engaging,well most of the ones I've seen are, I don't know about you or others. Korean dramas for me are " real life fiction " i say this a lot, you'll definitely get real life lessons from  character's life choices, advice to his fellow character.

I learnt about certain aspects of life I can't put to words,I felt like if I was exposed to something else,I won't know much of what I do now,maybe it was because Korean dramas were quite accessible to me at that time I could get that from other series or interests but Korean dramas got to me first.

It's a healthy escape from the real world,when i'm having a hard time it helps, it might seem over the top with my narrative but it is what it is. There are dark sides in the industry itself, I chose to see the virtues when I watch Korean dramas,movies, listen to Korean pop.
